Below is a list of Professional Development workshops that I have attended between September 2016-June 2017.
September 9:
King's Landing Field Trip
This was the first field trip for the BEd class of 2017. All the students are divided into groups and had a day long tour at the King's Landing settlement, we learned about things such as how people at King's Landing lived in the past. This field trip was an interesting and engaging way for all students to get to know each other. From there, we have been working together for this whole year.

National Council Day
On the national Council Day, I went to the Middle School session in Saint John, NB. I learned about mindfulness practice inside and outside the classroom, how to have a balanced life. How to maintain wellness, not only physical but mentally well. In the afternoon, I attended a session on talking about students with anxiety and how to help students deal with anxiety and fear in their life.
